Liquid ant bait takes anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks to completely eliminate a colony, depending on the infestation size. Worker ants consume the sweet bait and bring it back to feed the rest of the nest, dying within 24 to 48 hours of eating it. [1, 2]

Expect the following timeline:

• Day 1–2: You will see a massive swarm of ants around the bait. Do not spray or kill them, as this is the intended process of them sharing the bait.
• Day 3–7: Ant activity should visibly decrease as the poison takes effect.
• Up to 2 Weeks: Complete eradication of the nest. Very large colonies might take longer or require additional bait stations.

To get the best results:

• Place baits as close to ant trails and entry points as possible.
• Keep the area free of other food sources (crumbs, sugar, grease) so the ants are forced to eat the bait.
• Avoid using standard indoor bug sprays near the baits, as the chemicals will repel the ants away from the poison.
• Replace the bait if it dries up, hardens, or is entirely emptied by the ants
