Find your emotional center

Learn to defuse situations and control emotions, avoid encounters, don’t associate with bad people. Conquer yourself before you try to control others.

I see this in everyday life as I constantly work to cope with people and to master my own instinctive emotional response. I constantly remind myself that I may always choose to get angry later but I will not be goaded or provoked into losing control. If I decide to get angry I will be smart about the process and think of constructive ways to deal with the situation.

I say this mantra to myself in the mirror. I will never ever let you down.
