Every closed door is an opportunity to open another door.

Nobody gives you a chance when you show up at a job interview.

This happen to you yet?

On the phone I am told that I am the perfect candidate, come on down. When I arrive I am told that I am overqualified or greeted by someone with a “Hey Brother!”… Sorry but we just filled that job.

So what’s a man to do?

You can’t always control what happens to you. But you can control how you deal with the situation. Consider this- check your options and find something constructive that you have a talent for and then

START YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Connect with all your friends and family (your personal sphere of people who know and like you) and tell them about your business idea.

Use Google to educate yourself by asking questions about your business:

Where to find customers?
How to get into the business?
What’s it take to be successful?

Next search How to register a business in the state where you live?

Figure out the cost of the tools and materials to get started.
File all your paperwork.
Get up early and go do the job.

What if I can’t do all of the technical steps? Remember to go back to your sphere of people and ask who in the community can help get you started.
