Sometimes you come across problems that appear to be solvable only with money. Whenever you are in this situation consider the following:

More money is never going to make you happier.

Money is never going to make you happy – It usually just makes you more of whatever you are. So if you’re happy, then yes, you will continue to be happy. But if you have other emotions, you will continue to feel all of those.

If you have a friend with money and you ask them for money then they may feel that you value the money more than their friendship.  They may actually give you the money in which case they might reconsider the friendship.

Instead of getting the money, why not consider asking for advice on how to deal with the particular situation that requires you to believe that you need this money.

Consider this – a friend who can advise you on how to not be in a position where you need this money it’s worth much more than the money itself.
